Lila Rose - Welcome to my site!
A diverse talent with both screen and print credits, Lila Rose is a writer, executive story editor and development executive with two number one rated programs and numerous award-winning shows to her credit. The co-creator of two comedy animated series, ROBOROACH and CARL. Lila has created and/or developed programs that have successfully sold worldwide in over a hundred territories. She acted as the V.P. of Development and Story Consultant for the movie STOLEN MIRACLE, which debuted at #1 on both Lifetime and CTV. She was also the Associate Producer (creative) of the prime time drama MADISON, which won over twenty international awards. Most recently she was the Executive Story Editor for the in-depth weight loss documentary X-WEIGHTED, which achieved a #1 rating for original programming during her tenure. Lila has also co-written two romantic comedy feature length scripts including AHEAD of HER TIME, which was a finalist for a Writer’s Guild of Canada award for best new screenplay.
A featured writer for a former Vancouver-based performing arts publication “Performer’s Index”, Lila obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater (directing) from York University. She was the writer, lyricist and co-executive producer for the cabaret stage show CUPID 911, which debuted to standing ovations at Canada’s National Arts Center, and inspired a novel in progress. She has also written articles for Avenue Magazine and is currently completing her first memoir given that as per the ancient Chinese curse - she is living an interesting life in interesting times.
